Free CNA training: Jumpstart your career

Certified nursing assistants have the extraordinary opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. For example, in the long-term care industry, CNAs often become like extended family to older adults.

“The residents are what keep me going. It makes me feel good to be a light to them, to bring a smile to their face. They call you by name, they tell you ‘good morning,’ they love to see you. It’s an honor to get to take care of them.” Becky

So what does a CNA do? In this role, you will offer compassion and care while assisting people with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing and grooming, dressing and eating. CNAs also chart medical records and report health and wellness observations to the nursing staff.

Some people choose to serve as nursing assistants for their entire careers. Others choose to use this free nursing assistant certification program as a career path stepping stone.

“I took the job 23 years ago never knowing it would become my purpose and love in life.” Charissa
